Brazil’s Bolsonaro to Consider Pension Reform Options When Health Permits: Spokesman, Reuters Reports
Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro is set to review a range of proposals aimed at reforming the nation’s expensive pension system, as soon as his health permits, according to presidential spokesman Otavio Rego Barros.
Recently, Bolsonaro underwent a follow-up procedure to have a colostomy bag removed, a measure taken after he was stabbed during his election campaign. He is currently able to walk but is still receiving antibiotics. A timeline for his discharge from the hospital has not yet been established, as confirmed by Rego Barros.
