Stellantis Chairman Elkann Targeted in €75 Million Seizure Over Alleged Tax Fraud, Reports Say
MILAN – An Italian judge has confiscated assets valued at approximately 75 million euros (around $84 million) from five individuals, including John Elkann, the Chair of Stellantis and Ferrari, due to an investigation into alleged tax fraud, according to the Turin prosecutor’s office.
This investigation, initiated earlier this year, contends that Elkann failed to pay taxes on assets inherited by him and his siblings following their grandmother’s passing in 2019.
Those implicated in the asset seizure also include Elkann’s siblings, Lapo and Ginevra, as well as his accountant, Gianluca Ferrero.
Elkann could not be reached for immediate comment.
