Tron (TRX) Cryptocurrency Soars After Bitbox Listing by Cryptovest

Tron (TRX), one of the leading cryptocurrencies, surged over 13% on Wednesday following the announcement from Bitbox, the exchange launched by the Asian messaging powerhouse Line Corporation, regarding the initiation of trading for TRX.

At 01:00 UTC on Wednesday, Bitbox introduced two TRX trading pairs, with Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). While the platform also accommodates Tether (USDT) trading, TRX is not yet offered in this pairing. Additionally, Line Corporation is supporting a TRX airdrop on Bitbox, with plans to distribute nine million coins by August 22.

The news led to a spike in TRX’s price, which climbed from $0.18 to $0.20 just moments before the official launch.
