Russian Drone Attack Claims Lives of Two Adults and a Child in Ukraine’s Chernihiv Region, Reports Reuters
A Russian drone struck a truck delivering gas in the Chernihiv region of Ukraine on Thursday, resulting in the deaths of two adults and a child, according to national police.
Regional governor Vyacheslav Chaus reported that the drone attack was a deliberate act targeting the liquefied gas truck. The impact caused the gas cylinders to explode, igniting nearby residential buildings. Among the deceased was a six-year-old child.
Four others were wounded, including a four-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl, both of whom were reported to be in critical condition and required hospitalization. Chaus shared images of the scene, showing a completely burnt truck and flames engulfing nearby homes.
