UK Summons Iranian Charge d’Affaires Over Ballistic Missile Transfer to Russia, Reports Reuters
LONDON – The British foreign ministry has summoned the Iranian charge d’affaires following reports of ballistic missile transfers from Iran to Russia.
In a statement, the foreign ministry indicated that this action was taken in coordination with European partners and upon the instruction of the Foreign Secretary.
The UK government expressed its concerns clearly, stating that any transfer of ballistic missiles to Russia would constitute a serious escalation and would prompt a substantial response.
