Zircuit Launches Mainnet Phase 1 and Announces ZRC Airdrop Season 1

George Town, Grand Cayman, August 5th, 2024 – Chainwire

Zircuit, an EVM-compatible ZK rollup featuring AI-enhanced sequencer-level security, has announced the launch of Mainnet Phase 1. This phase is also marked by the introduction of the Zircuit Mainnet Festival, an innovative program that rewards participants with ZRC tokens based on their gas fees spent within the Zircuit network.

As a token of appreciation for users who engaged in its successful staking initiative—amassing over $2 billion staked—Zircuit has initiated claims for Season 1 Airdrop tokens. Those who staked assets during the Season 1 points campaign can now collect their tokens.

During Mainnet Phase 1, users can transfer funds to Zircuit’s Mainnet and engage with various projects within its ecosystem, including Ambient Finance, DODO, Circuit, Zerolend, Ethena, Lynx, InstaDapp, LogX, and Shoebill, among others. Developers are encouraged to build applications on the Zircuit mainnet, joining an ever-growing ecosystem exceeding 60 projects.

In conjunction with the launch, Zircuit is hosting the Mainnet Festival, rewarding users with ZRC tokens whenever they pay gas fees on the Zircuit mainnet. Participants will also have the chance to win various prizes, including a grand prize of 100,000 ZRC. This festival aims to promote user engagement with the network while enjoying the benefits of Zircuit and earning rewards.

Mainnet Phase 1 will implement limits on the bridging amounts for each wallet, with these limits expected to increase over time. Initially, only ETH can be bridged, with additional assets to be added later. This approach ensures a secure launch and allows for a more equitable distribution of Zircuit rewards to smaller wallets.

During this phase, the ZRC token claims portal will be opened for early contributors and network participants. Users who earned Zircuit Points in Season 1 of staking are eligible. While tokens can be claimed now, they will remain non-transferable until a future date. To facilitate the asset migration planned for Phase 2, where staked assets will move to the Zircuit mainnet, Zircuit will begin collecting wallet addresses from users intending to transfer their staked assets once the network is fully operational.

"Launching the first phase of our mainnet represents a key turning point for us. Developers and users can now explore the full advantages of Zircuit and our cutting-edge sequencer-level security. Additionally, the Mainnet Festival uniquely rewards our early, active users. We view Zircuit as the cornerstone for the next wave of innovation in web3 and are excited to witness the decentralized applications that will emerge on our platform," stated Martin Derka, co-founder of Zircuit.

Zircuit is equipped to protect users from hacks through its automated AI mechanisms, safeguarding against smart contract vulnerabilities and malicious endeavors. Supported by robust security measures, Zircuit serves as a primary hub for restaked assets, presenting unmatched security and enabling users to achieve top-tier yields.

During Mainnet Phase 1, users are invited to explore the Zircuit ecosystem and bridge ETH to the Zircuit Mainnet. Mainnet Phase 2 is anticipated to launch in August.

Users can claim their tokens and participate in the Zircuit Mainnet Festival through the designated portals.
