Thai SEC to Review License Applications from Seven Crypto Companies

Thailand’s Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has announced that seven cryptocurrency companies have submitted applications for licenses to operate in the sector. The list features various crypto trading platforms, including Co Ltd, Bitkub Online, Cash2coins, Coin Asset, and TDAX, which is set to rebrand as Satang Pro on August 31. Additionally, dealers Coins TH and Digital Coin are among those applying for licenses.

The application process is in line with the Digital Asset Management Act BE 2561, which received approval in mid-March.
