Ripple Partners with Three Crypto Exchanges for xRapid Transactions

Blockchain startup has entered into an agreement with three cryptocurrency exchanges to utilize its XRP-powered platform, xRapid, for cross-border transactions.

As per a statement released on Thursday, Bittrex, Bitso, and Coins.ph will serve as the “preferred” exchanges for xRapid transactions in U.S. dollars, Mexican pesos, and Philippine pesos, respectively.

“Bittrex is one of the leading names in digital asset trading in the U.S., and the same can be said for Bitso in Mexico and Coins.ph in the Philippines. This announcement marks a significant development for xRapid,” commented Cory Johnson, Ripple’s chief market strategist. “We’ve successfully conducted several xRapid pilots already, and as we transition the product from beta to production later this year, these exchange partners will enable us to better serve financial institutions…”
