Decentralized Infura Set to Launch Soon, Web2 Cloud Giants Might Join: ConsenSys

A decentralized version of Infura is set to launch by the end of the year, with significant involvement from leading Web2 cloud providers, according to the chief strategist of ConsenSys.

Simon Morris, ConsenSys Head of Strategy, shared insights during Korean Blockchain Week, stating, “We’re looking to launch something later this year. Following that, there will be a federated phase expected to last around six months.” This initial phase will operate under centralized control as a trial period for the network.
