AeroVironment: U.S. Army Lifts Stop Work Order

AeroVironment (NASDAQ: AVAV) has announced that the U.S. Army has terminated the stop work order associated with its indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract, which has a ceiling value of $990 million. This contract pertains to the company’s Switchblade systems. With the stop work order lifted, AeroVironment will move forward with fulfilling a $128 million delivery order issued under this contract. However, it is important to note that the lifting of the stop work order does not impact the ongoing review by the U.S. Government Accountability Office concerning a protest filed earlier this month regarding the contract award to the company.
