NHC Reports Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine Forms Over Western Cuba, According to Reuters
Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine has formed approximately 350 miles (565 km) south-southeast of the western tip of Cuba and is projected to strengthen into a hurricane on Wednesday as it travels across the eastern Gulf of Mexico, according to the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC).
The system currently has maximum sustained winds of 30 miles per hour (45 kph), as reported by the Miami-based weather agency.
