Dunelm Group Declines as Major Shareholder Reduces Stake
Shares of Dunelm Group experienced a decline after WA Capital Limited, a company owned by Sir Will Adderley, the Deputy Chair of Dunelm, and Lady Nadine Adderley, sold a significant portion of their shares in the company.
As of 5:02 AM (0902 GMT), Dunelm Group was trading 6.3% lower at £1,157.50.
The sale, executed through an accelerated bookbuild secondary placing, involved approximately 10 million ordinary shares from Dunelm’s issued share capital. This marks the first time Sir Will Adderley has reduced his stakes in the company since February 2021.

WA Capital stated that Sir Will Adderley has committed to not selling any further shares in the company for a minimum of 180 days, with certain customary exceptions.
Barclays served as the Sole Global Coordinator and Joint Bookrunner for the transaction, in collaboration with UBS AG London Branch.
Details regarding the placing, including the final pricing, will be finalized upon the completion of the accelerated bookbuilding process.
