The era of pay-to-use blockchains has come to an end.
This sentiment, however, doesn’t apply to us in the crypto community. We’re quite comfortable managing wallets, etching seed phrases onto steel cards for safekeeping, navigating exchanges, leveraging assets for yield, and honing our operational security skills—all while hoping that external threats remain at bay.
For blockchains to thrive, they must meet three essential criteria:
- They must be free.
- They must be frictionless.
- They must be familiar.
