Crypto Funds Set to Set Record in 2018 By Cryptovest

The launch of new cryptocurrency investment funds is projected to reach record levels in 2018, according to a recent analysis by a U.S. firm specializing in cryptocurrency hedge funds and venture capital companies.

By the end of July of this year, 96 new hedge and venture capital funds had been established, indicating an annual pace of 165. If this trend continues, the total number of newly launched crypto funds will exceed last year’s record of 156.

In addition to the emergence of new venture capital and hedge funds, it is anticipated that existing hedge funds will start to include cryptocurrencies in their investment strategies. Similarly, established venture capital firms are expected to increase their investments in blockchain technology and create their own blockchain-focused funds.
