Judge Weighs Gag Order in Case Involving Trump Adviser Stone, By Reuters
A federal judge overseeing the case of Roger Stone, a former political adviser to President Donald Trump, indicated on Friday that she is contemplating a gag order. This order would restrict the parties involved from making public comments about the criminal case.
Judge Amy Berman Jackson stated that if a gag order is enacted, Stone would still have the ability to speak with the media on topics that are not connected to the criminal proceedings led by special counsel Robert Mueller. She has requested both parties to submit briefs by February 8 regarding their position on the potential gag order.
