IMF and Gambia Reach Agreement on New $100 Million Support Package, According to Reuters

DAKAR – The International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Gambian authorities have announced a staff-level agreement on a new three-year support package valued at approximately $100 million. This was revealed in a statement released on Wednesday.

The program is designed to back the agreed economic policies and reforms in The Gambia. Its primary goals include addressing inflation and foreign exchange challenges, reducing debt, and promoting economic growth in the West African nation.
