Three Crew Members Killed in Canadian Pacific Grain Train Derailment in British Columbia, Reports Reuters
TORONTO (Reuters) – Three crew members lost their lives on Monday following a derailment of a grain train operated by Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd in British Columbia, according to a spokesperson from the Transportation Safety Board (TSB).
The incident took place at 2:10 A.M. Mountain Time, when the train, which was transporting 40 to 60 grain hopper cars, derailed in the vicinity of Field, British Columbia. The TSB is currently conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the derailment.
At this time, Canadian Pacific has not provided an immediate comment regarding the incident.
