Consensys Prepares Cross-Chain Metamask Snaps, According to Cointelegraph

MetaMask’s highly anticipated Snaps feature will enable users to engage with a diverse range of blockchain networks, stay updated on various projects, and gain clarity on complex transactions, according to Simon Morris, Head of Strategy at Consensys.

During an interview at Korea Blockchain Week on September 6, Morris explained that MetaMask Snaps will essentially function like an App Store for the crypto wallet. This new capability will allow third-party developers to create and launch decentralized applications (DApps), referred to as Snaps, which will enhance the overall functionality of MetaMask.
