‘Unhackable’ Wallet Allegedly Compromised, Hackers Assert Compliance with Bounty Conditions
A group of researchers claims to have successfully breached the Bitfi wallet, as reported on August 12.
The executive chairman of Bitfi, cybersecurity expert John McAfee, previously described the wallet as “the world’s first unhackable device.” To substantiate his assertion, McAfee offered a challenge to security experts, announcing a $100,000 reward for anyone who could compromise the device, starting on July 24.
