Florida Man Pleads Guilty to Charges Connected to Haiti Assassination Plot

A resident of Florida has become the latest individual to plead guilty in connection with a U.S. court case in Miami related to the 2021 assassination of Haiti’s former president, Jovenel Moise, as revealed in a judicial filing on Friday.

Frederick Joseph Bergmann Jr. entered a guilty plea for submitting false or misleading export information and for conspiring to commit offenses against the United States, according to the filing.
