Biden Considers Reducing Tariffs on China and Requests Increased Oil Production from OPEC, According to Reuters

TOKYO – U.S. President Joe Biden announced that he is considering the possibility of reducing tariffs on Chinese imports while simultaneously urging OPEC to increase oil production, as he faces significant challenges posed by escalating inflation.

During a press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, Biden stated, “I am considering it. We did not impose any of those tariffs. They were imposed by the last administration, and they’re under consideration.”
