Boeing Strengthens Indonesian Aviation Ties with New MoU and Jakarta Office
Indonesia’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation and Boeing Company have signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement, formalized by M. Mauludin and John W. Bruns at Boeing’s newly opened Jakarta office, aims to promote economic and technological advancement within the Indonesian aviation sector. This MoU addresses essential industry topics, including supply chain management, workforce development, technological innovation, and aircraft maintenance, while also striving to enhance the civil aviation system.
This agreement builds on a cooperative relationship that has spanned 75 years between Boeing and Indonesia, establishing a new standard for sustainable development in the nation’s aviation industry. The MoU highlights a dedication to aviation safety, service quality, air navigation services, and personnel training through the sharing of information.
Additionally, on the day of the signing, Boeing officially launched its Jakarta office and announced plans for the MoU to elevate the national aviation sector. Zaid Alami, Managing Director of Boeing Indonesia, underscored the importance of flight safety, efficiency, and sustainability during the inauguration ceremony. This agreement reaffirms Boeing’s commitment to Indonesia and signals their plans for future expansion.
