British Airways Warns of Weather-Related Disruptions to Short-Haul Flights from Heathrow, Reports Reuters
LONDON (Reuters) – British Airways has cautioned travelers that severe weather conditions in southeastern England may disrupt some short-haul flights.
The Met Office has issued an amber warning, forecasting heavy snowfall for Thursday night that could impact transportation in London, southern England, and Wales.
"We are expecting adverse weather conditions across parts of southeast England on Thursday, which is likely to affect some of our short-haul flights," a British Airways spokesperson stated, as reported by Travel Weekly.
In light of the potential disruptions, the airline is offering flexible rebooking options for all customers on short-haul flights arriving to or departing from London Heathrow.
"We recognize the uncertainty that the bad weather may be causing customers," the spokesperson added.
