EOS Drops 10.38% Amid Selloff

EOS was trading at $4.5755 as of 17:56 (21:56 GMT) on Monday, marking a decline of 10.38% for the day. This represents the largest single-day percentage drop since August 8.

This downward movement reduced EOS’s market capitalization to $4.21 billion, accounting for 2.05% of the overall cryptocurrency market cap. At its peak, EOS’s market cap reached $17.53 billion.

In the previous 24 hours, EOS traded within a range of $4.5743 to $5.1534. Over the past week, EOS has experienced a significant decline, losing 33.8% of its value. The trading volume over the last 24 hours was $634.36 million, which constitutes 5.28% of the total volume across all cryptocurrencies. During the last week, its trading range extended from $4.57 to $7.18.

Currently, EOS is down 80.09% from its all-time high of $22.98, which was reached on April 29.

In the broader cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin was recently priced at $6,249.4, reflecting a decrease of 1.88% for the day. Additionally, another cryptocurrency was trading at $287.27, showing a loss of 11.61%.

Bitcoin’s market capitalization stands at approximately $108.29 billion, making up 52.77% of the entire cryptocurrency market cap, while Ethereum’s market cap is around $29.38 billion, representing 14.32% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
