China Investigates US Firm PVH for Alleged Boycott of Xinjiang Products, According to Reuters
China is set to investigate PVH Corp., the parent company of Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, for potential breaches of market trading principles concerning products associated with Xinjiang, according to a statement from the commerce ministry on Tuesday.
The ministry has requested that the U.S. company provide documentation and evidence within 30 days regarding any “discriminatory measures” related to Xinjiang products that have been implemented over the last three years.
Furthermore, the ministry indicated that PVH is suspected of “unjustly boycotting” Xinjiang cotton and other related products “without factual basis.”
