China Seeks Consensus with EU on EV Tariff Dispute Through Flexible Pricing Solutions, According to Reuters
BEIJING (Reuters) – On Thursday, the Chinese commerce ministry announced that technical teams from China and the European Commission are engaged in active negotiations concerning a flexible price commitment solution related to the electric vehicle tariff dispute.
Both parties are aiming to reach a consensus prior to any arbitration, as stated by the ministry’s spokesperson during a regular press conference.
Spokesperson He Yongqian emphasized China’s "strong commitment" to dialogue and negotiations to effectively address differences and reaffirmed the determination to protect the legitimate interests of Chinese enterprises.
