Chinese Cozystay Turns to Blockchain to Enhance Holiday Bookings by Cryptovest

Chinese vacation property platform Cozystay announced on Thursday that it is working on a blockchain platform designed to enhance bookings and improve customer service.

This initiative aims to achieve one million listings by the end of the year, collaborating with Singapore-based Share Everything Lab Pte. Ltd. (SEL) to develop the blockchain features. Currently, Cozystay has over 60,000 users and 200,000 listings worldwide and operates offices in Vancouver, Canada, and Beijing, China.

Cheng noted, “The booking protocol being developed by SEL will ensure security and transparency for hosts and guests, as each user is verified by trusted members of the Cozystay community.”

The company emphasized a broader trend of diminishing trust in institutions while highlighting a growing reliance on individual users.
