AI-Coded Smart Contracts May Be Flawed and Vulnerable to Attacks: CertiK

Artificial intelligence tools, like ChatGPT from OpenAI, are likely to introduce more issues, bugs, and potential vulnerabilities when utilized for writing smart contracts and developing cryptocurrency projects. This insight comes from Kang Li, the chief security officer at the blockchain security firm CertiK.

During an interview at Korean Blockchain Week on September 5, Li noted that ChatGPT lacks the capability to identify logical coding errors in the same manner that seasoned developers do.

As AI technology continues to improve, it also enhances social engineering exploits, raising concerns regarding its application in the blockchain space.
