Coinbase CEO Criticizes Chase UK for ‘Totally Inappropriate’ Crypto Action

Brian Armstrong, the CEO of the prominent cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, has criticized JPMorgan’s subsidiary, Chase UK, for its decision to impose restrictions on crypto-related transactions.

On September 26, Armstrong expressed his disapproval on X (formerly Twitter), labeling Chase Bank’s choice to prohibit its UK customers from engaging in debit card or wire transfers for cryptocurrency transactions as “totally inappropriate.”
