CTFC Takes Action Against DeFi Protocols Opyn, ZeroEx, and Deridex

The United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is taking regulatory measures against three decentralized finance protocols for allegedly failing to register their derivatives trading offerings.

In a statement released on September 8, the U.S. commodities regulator announced that it has issued orders against the protocols Opyn, ZeroEx, and Deridex.

The regulatory oversight highlights the ongoing scrutiny of the decentralized finance sector as authorities seek to ensure compliance with existing financial regulations.
