
Denmark Stocks Higher at Market Close; OMX Copenhagen 20 Up 0.13%
Denmark’s stock market experienced an upswing following the close on Tuesday, driven by gains across various sectors.
By the end of trading in Copenhagen, the main index had increased by 0.13%.
Among the session’s top performers, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B saw the most significant rise, gaining 2.19% or 240 points, closing at 11,180. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A added 2.18% or 230 points, finishing at 10,780, and Pandora A/S rose by 1.53% or 17.50 points to close at 1,162.00.
On the downside, NKT Holding was the worst performer, dropping 4.03% or 26.50 points to 630.50. Demant A/S fell by 2.57% or 6.80 points to end at 258.20, while Vestas Wind Systems A/S decreased by 2.14% or 3.40 points, finishing at 155.40.
Overall, declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, with 73 falling, 55 rising, and 21 remaining unchanged.
In commodities, crude oil for November delivery increased by 1.12% to $71.16 per barrel. Brent oil for December delivery rose 1.11% to $74.02, while December Gold Futures edged up by 0.60%, reaching $2,668.45 per troy ounce.
In currency trading, the USD/DKK pair fell by 0.38% to 6.69, while the EUR/DKK remained relatively stable with a change of 0.03% at 7.46.
Lastly, the US Dollar Index Futures declined by 0.24% to 100.32.
