The private spaceflight company SpaceX, established by Tesla CEO Elon Musk, is reportedly seeking to raise $750 million in a new funding round.
According to various sources, this funding round is expected to be led by Andreessen Horowitz, which is anticipated to value the space venture at $137 billion. Andreessen Horowitz previously supported Musk during his successful acquisition of Twitter.
This funding initiative follows reports that SpaceX permitted insiders to sell shares at $77 each. Last year, the company successfully raised $2 billion, including a funding round in May that valued SpaceX at $127 billion.
Moreover, SpaceX’s satellite internet service, Starlink, has reportedly surpassed 1 million subscribers.
