Erdogan Expects Greece to Return Eight Turkish Soldiers Linked to Coup, According to Reuters
Turkey’s President Tayyip Erdogan stated on Tuesday his expectation for increased cooperation from Greece regarding the repatriation of eight soldiers who fled to Greece after the coup attempt in 2016.
On the same day, Turkey updated its list of former military officers sought for their alleged involvement in the coup attempt, now including the eight officers who have received asylum in Greece. Each of these officers has a bounty of 4 million Turkish lira (approximately $770,446) placed on their heads.
