Ex-Google Engineer Accuses Bitmain of Interfering with Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
After documents surfaced indicating that Bitmain had accumulated approximately $550 million in Bitcoin Cash (BCH), presumably acquiring it shortly after the network’s inception, intrigue spread throughout the industry. Many began to investigate why a multi-billion-dollar corporation would exhibit such a keen interest in this particular cryptocurrency.
Among those investigating is Vijay Boyapati, the founder of Visan and a former engineer at Google who contributed to the development of the Google News platform. In a series of tweets, he has accused Bitmain of orchestrating the Segwit2x fork and promoting Bitcoin Cash.
