Dora Announces Advancement to a Unified Multichain and MultiVM Explorer

New York, New York, July 11th, 2024, Chainwire

Dora 2.0 Update Enhances Searchability Across Over 10 Chains, Along with Bridging and Swapping Capabilities in New Virtual Machine Ecosystems

Dora, the integrated search, discovery, and action platform for the multichain ecosystem, is thrilled to unveil major upgrades that will empower users with enhanced search functionalities and a streamlined interface for bridging and swapping across more than 10 supported chains. This list includes Base, Rari, Xai, Palm Network, Gnosis, Scroll, among others. Currently, blockchain services often operate in silos, creating hurdles for interoperability, innovation, and liquidity. The Dora 2.0 Update is a significant move toward achieving a seamless multichain experience, reinforcing Dora’s commitment to advancing a multichain and multiVM future. Following a recent collaboration with Movement and Fluent, Dora is set to become the first multiVM block explorer. This will enable users to search not only EVM chains but also access SVM, Wasm, and Move interactions all within a single interface, simplifying transaction management.

The announcement includes three essential updates:

  1. Dora Search – Unified Multichain Capabilities: Dora 2.0 provides a seamless integration of new chains, evolving from a single chain search service to a comprehensive multichain discovery engine, initially supporting over 10 chains.

  2. Dora Actions – Bridging and Swapping: The update introduces Dora Action, a unified interface for onchain transactions, facilitating bridging and swapping across all integrated chains.

  3. Dora Profiles – Multichain Portfolio Overview: Starting in Q3 2024, users will gain visibility of their transactions, collections, and interactions across a unified multichain view.

  4. Dora MultiVM Discovery Engine & Block Explorer: Also set for Q3 2024, Dora 2.0 will broaden its scope into novel Virtual Machine ecosystems like Move, partnering with Movement, and SVM & Wasm with Fluent to create a unified MultiVM block explorer and search engine.

"Dora 2.0 is a pivotal stride in our mission to offer an integrated multichain and now multiVM experience," stated Bunny, CEO and Co-Founder of Dora. "We believe that widespread adoption of cryptocurrency depends on minimizing the barriers and complexities associated with the increasing number of chains. Users should be able to engage with any ecosystem effortlessly, without navigating the technical challenges of transitioning to a new chain. We eagerly anticipate expanding our support for additional chains and further developing our multiVM capabilities with Movement, Fluent, and other virtual machines."

As part of its enhanced multichain services, Dora has teamed up with Privy as a wallet service provider and Decent for executing cross-chain transactions.

"Dora is consistently ahead in the crypto space, having launched the first multichain block explorer with real-time latency. This was a significant leap forward for the industry, particularly for gaming and NFT creators who prioritize those features in their products and communities. We look forward to collaborating on MultiVM efforts," shared Kevin Li, CEO and Co-Founder of Goldsky.

"At SimpleHash, we are firm believers in Dora’s leadership in the crypto realm, marked by a superior user experience and a multichain approach—principles that resonate with our mission, making us proud supporters," said Olly Wilson, Founder of SimpleHash. "Their initiatives are vital for simplifying crypto navigation and onboarding the next billion users. We look forward to continued collaboration in new VM ecosystems such as Movement and Fluent."

This announcement comes on the heels of Dora’s successful closure of a $5.5 million early-stage funding round co-led by Dragonfly and Lemniscap.
