Four ISIS Leaders Killed in August 29 Raid in Iraq, Reports US Military

Four ISIS leaders were killed during a U.S.-Iraqi raid in Western Iraq on August 29, which also resulted in the deaths of 14 operatives, according to the U.S. military. The operation, disclosed earlier in August, also left seven military personnel injured.

On Friday, U.S. Central Command confirmed the deaths of several ISIS leaders, including Ahmad Hamid Husayn Abd-al-Jalil al-Ithawi, who was in charge of all operations within Iraq.
