G7 Declares No One Will Benefit from Middle East Escalation, According to Reuters

NEW YORK (Reuters) – The foreign ministers of the Group of Seven (G7) major democracies issued a warning on Monday that the escalating actions and reactions in the Middle East threaten to draw the region into a more extensive conflict, which would be detrimental to all involved.

In a statement released after their meeting at the United Nations General Assembly, the G7 emphasized that “actions and counter-reactions risk magnifying this dangerous spiral of violence and dragging the entire Middle East into a broader regional conflict with unimaginable consequences.”

The ministers urged an immediate halt to the ongoing cycle of destruction, underscoring that no nation stands to benefit from further escalation in the region.
