Gala Games Founders Clash Over $130M Theft and Allegations of Corporate Waste
The co-founders of the blockchain gaming platform Gala Games are embroiled in a legal dispute involving two separate lawsuits. One claim involves allegations of $130 million in stolen Gala (GALA) tokens, while the other pertains to accusations of corporate mismanagement.
On August 31, Gala co-founders Wright Thurston and Eric Schiermeyer initiated lawsuits against each other in a court located in Utah.
One of the lawsuits accuses Thurston of stealing GALA tokens, while the opposing suit contends that Schiermeyer misappropriated the company’s assets for personal benefit.
