Hong Kong Police Seize $11M in Assets Related to JPEX Case, Report Says

The Secretary for Security in Hong Kong, Chris Tang Ping-keung, is committed to providing justice for victims of the JPEX crypto exchange fraud, according to local media reports. In a press conference held on September 27, the security chief announced that law enforcement is actively pursuing the primary operators involved in orchestrating the largest digital asset fraud in the region.

During the briefing, Tang disclosed that the police have arrested 12 individuals connected to the case and have confiscated over 8 million Hong Kong dollars (approximately $1 million) in cash, along with assets valued at 77 million HK$ (around $9.8 million), which include both real estate and digital currencies.
