
Indonesia Stocks Rise at Close of Trade; IDX Composite Index Up 1.27%
Indonesia Stock Market Update
On Tuesday, Indonesia’s stock market saw an increase as gains in various sectors propelled shares upward. At the end of the trading day in Jakarta, the index rose by 1.27%.
The top performers for the session included Jaya Sukses Makmur Sentosa Tbk PT, which experienced a remarkable surge of 507.36%, gaining 827 points to close at 990. Meanwhile, Bank Bumi Arta Tbk added 346.88%, rising by 555 points to settle at 715. PT ITSEC Asia Tbk remained unchanged at 330.
Conversely, the worst performers included Modernland Realty Ltd Tbk, which plummeted by 98.90%, losing 4,599 points to close at 51. Eratex Djaja Tbk declined by 98.52%, dropping 7,438 points to end at 112, while Intikeramik Alamasri Industri fell by 98.40%, finishing at 12.
Overall, declining stocks outnumbered gainers on the Jakarta Stock Exchange, with 355 falling and 316 advancing, while 170 remained unchanged. Eratex Djaja Tbk’s shares hit a three-year low with a significant decline.
In commodities trading, oil prices for November delivery dropped by 2.00% to $66.81 per barrel. Additionally, December oil futures fell by 1.79% to $70.42 per barrel. However, the December gold contract rose by 0.25%, trading at $2,666.15 per troy ounce.
The index for another market was up by 0.19%, reaching 15,224.65, while another index increased by 0.12% to close at 10,516.96. Futures contracts also showed a slight increase, rising by 0.15% to 100.67.
