Iran Cautions Israel Against Attacks, Promises Stronger Retaliation, According to Reuters

Iran’s Foreign Minister Issues Warning to Israel

DUBAI (Reuters) – Iran’s foreign minister has cautioned Israel against initiating any military action, stating on Tuesday that any strike on Iranian infrastructure would provoke a far stronger response.

Last week, Iran launched a series of missile attacks against Israel, which has promised to retaliate.

"We advise the Zionist regime (Israel) not to challenge the resolve of the Islamic Republic. Should any attack occur against our country, our response will be even more forceful," Araqchi declared during a televised address.

He emphasized that any assault on Iran’s facilities would be met with significant retaliation, asserting that "our adversaries are aware of the targets within the Zionist regime (Israel) that are well within our range."

Additionally, Iran’s oil minister recently arrived on Kharg Island, home to the nation’s main oil export terminal, where he engaged in discussions with a naval commander amid rising concerns about potential Israeli attacks on energy infrastructures.

U.S. President Joe Biden remarked on Friday that he did not believe Israel had made a definitive decision regarding its response.
