
Israel Stocks Rise at Close; TA 35 Up 0.78%
Israel’s stock market saw an uptick on Sunday, buoyed by gains across multiple sectors.
By the end of trading in Tel Aviv, the main index rose by 0.78%.
The standout performers of the day included Azrieli Group Ltd, which increased by 3.42% or 800 points, closing at 24,200.00. Amot Investments Ltd followed with a gain of 2.35% or 34 points, ending the session at 1,480.00. Shapir Engineering Industry also saw an increase of 2.15% or 40 points, closing at 1,903.00.
Conversely, the biggest declines were seen in Camtek Ltd, which dropped by 2.70% or 770 points to close at 27,780.00. Energean Oil & Gas PLC fell by 2.47% or 108 points, finishing at 4,263.00. Mizrahi Tefahot also experienced a downturn, decreasing by 1.11% or 150 points to 13,330.00.
Overall, advancing stocks outnumbered those that declined on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 243 to 187, with 109 remaining unchanged.
In commodities, crude oil for November delivery rose by 0.10% to $70.33 per barrel. In contrast, Brent oil for December delivery fell by 0.21% to $73.69 per barrel, while December gold futures climbed by 1.24% to $2,647.10 per troy ounce.
On the currency front, the USD/ILS pair rose by 0.53% to 3.78, and the EUR/ILS increased by 0.72% to 4.22. Meanwhile, the US Dollar Index Futures showed a minor increase of 0.10% at 100.42.
