Litecoin Climbs 12% In Bullish Trade

Litecoin was trading at $58.370 as of 02:03 (06:03 GMT) on Tuesday, marking a 12.16% increase for the day—the largest one-day percentage gain since March 29. This upward movement raised Litecoin’s market capitalization to $4.365 billion, representing 0.23% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. Previously, Litecoin’s market cap had peaked at $25.609 billion.

In the previous twenty-four hours, Litecoin fluctuated between $56.030 and $58.985. However, over the last week, the cryptocurrency has experienced a 20.58% decline in value. The trading volume for Litecoin within the past twenty-four hours was approximately $809.335 million, accounting for 0.34% of the total volume across all cryptocurrencies. In the past week, it has traded within a range of $50.3129 to $72.8957.

Currently, Litecoin is still down 86.10% from its all-time high of $420.00, which was reached on December 12, 2017.

In other cryptocurrency markets, Bitcoin was last quoted at $55,953.6, up 6.06% for the day, while Ethereum was trading at $2,523.60, reflecting a gain of 9.40%. Bitcoin’s market capitalization stood at approximately $1.104 trillion, which is 57.97% of the overall cryptocurrency market cap. In contrast, Ethereum’s market cap totaled around $303.508 billion, making up 15.93% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
