Grayscale Submits Files for New Spot Bitcoin ETF on NYSE Arca

Major cryptocurrency investment firm Grayscale Investments has submitted a new application to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF).

On October 19, Grayscale filed an S-3 form registration statement with the SEC, aiming to list shares of the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust on the New York Stock Exchange Arca under the ticker symbol GBTC.
