Microstrategy’s Michael Saylor Shares Cryptic Bitcoin (BTC) Message in Germany

Michael Saylor recently conveyed a cryptic message, likely aimed at the German government, as their selling activities are putting significant pressure on the Bitcoin market and disrupting the upward momentum of the asset. The translated message reads, “Everyone gets Bitcoin at the price he deserves.”

This message is rooted in the recent actions of the German government’s Bitcoin wallet, which has been active lately. Over the past two days, the wallet has recorded Bitcoin transactions at the end of the business day, suggesting a possible buyback following a previous sale, according to some analysts.

However, it appears that these unsold Bitcoins are being returned to the German government’s control wallet. While it may seem peculiar, such a large institution might lack sufficient trust in exchanges and therefore prefer self-custody of its assets. Just yesterday, 3,073 BTC were added back to the wallet, increasing the temporary balance to 27,461 BTC, valued at approximately $1.57 billion.

Another round of Bitcoin selling is imminent today from the German government, which has already significantly affected Bitcoin’s price and the overall market sentiment. Saylor’s message might be interpreted as a reflection of the market’s current state and how the actions of this institution are influencing it. It’s also possible that Saylor is critiquing the decision to sell such a substantial amount of BTC in such a disruptive manner.

The ongoing selling operations by the German government are making it increasingly challenging for Bitcoin to maintain its momentum. This situation underscores the considerable influence that institutions and major holders exert on the cryptocurrency market, often leading to volatility and sharp price fluctuations. While large-scale sales can trigger temporary price declines, they may also encourage some investors to buy in, while instilling fear in others.
