Minecraft Bans Bitcoin P2E, iPhone 15 & Crypto Gaming; Formula E: Web3 Gamer Insights
In our July edition, we introduced Satlantis, an independent Minecraft server created by fans of the game that allowed players to earn rewards by completing quests through play-to-earn features. We also highlighted Mojang’s previous ban on NFTs and speculated on how this integration would hold up against the restrictions.
Since then, Microsoft subsidiary Mojang has requested that Satlantis remove these play-to-earn functionalities. This was confirmed by David Dineno, the server’s founder, in a Discord announcement. The server complied with this request and eliminated the feature two days later.
