World Court Rules Russia-Ukraine Genocide Case Can Proceed, Reports Reuters
The Hague – Judges at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) have decided that Ukraine’s case against Russia, which accuses the latter of violating international law and committing genocide, can proceed.
This legal action was initiated by Ukraine shortly after Russia launched its invasion of the country on February 24, 2022. The ICJ, often referred to as the World Court, has allowed the case to advance despite Russia’s attempts to dismiss it.
