NEW YORK – The United States, which last month opted to withhold $95.7 million in aid to Egypt and postponed an additional $195 million over concerns regarding human rights issues, is open to reconsidering some suspended military assistance, stated U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday.
During a meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Trump was asked about the possibility of resuming military aid. He responded, "We’re going to certainly consider it."
