Prosecution Argues FTX Founder’s Plea for Temporary Release Should Be Denied

The United States government submitted a letter to Judge Lewis Kaplan on September 27, opposing the motion filed by Sam Bankman-Fried and his legal team for temporary release from jail ahead of his trial scheduled for October 3. The judge is expected to hear arguments from both parties later today.

In its filing, the government requested that Kaplan deny Bankman-Fried’s request, which was made on September 25.
