Robinhood’s Equity Tokenization Launches on Swarm Platform

Swarm Fund, a blockchain fintech startup specializing in the tokenization of private company equity for trading, recently announced the launch of a pre-funding round for the Robinhood Equity Token (RHET).

The initiative to tokenize Robinhood’s equity was revealed in June.

As detailed in Swarm’s announcement, eligible investors can secure their stake in a fund designed to hold equity in Robinhood, a widely-used stock and cryptocurrency trading app. Once the minimum funding target is achieved, a Swarm entity created on the platform will acquire equity through a partnership with Robinhood.

This development marks a significant step in the tokenization process of equity in private companies.
